Loving school....

The lil one is going to school like she's been doing this for ages.....7 AM to 7:30 Am, things move pretty fast at our home. 'Give me my ID card, mummy', 'Give me my belt', she asks, and then her bag, wears it on her shoulders and runs to the lift, after dada. "Wait for me, dada", she shouts to dada, while she hurriedly gives me a hug. And from inside the lift, she waves to me, "Take care, mummy".
I spent the first few mornings crying, unable to bear time away from her.But this has to be done, and done for her good. I battled tears for a few days and now, am slowly getting on track, unlike the lil one, who was always on track, touchwood.
I wait for her eagerly, trying to finish some chores before she returns. She comes back at 1 PM, and that is the time I eagerly wait for, to go and pick her up from the bus stop. She always sleeps on the way back, is woken up by the matron when the bus arrives at the stop, and she smiles at me, still half asleep and I feel full of life again. And then, I ask her, who she played with, at school that morning. Then, start her stories, "There was a tiger in the class today, and Priya ma'm said,'shoo away tiger, you are a naughty tiger','Ali was trying to snatch my sippy cup and I told him;Don't be naughty,Ali'.She keeps me entertained during the 10 minute walk back home. And then, her lunch and TV and a nap, and then some time in the playground.
She's just soooo happy with so many friends and activities around. My lil, happy baby is growing up, and I better accept that. Every weekend, a file containing her week's activities is sent home, and it's so fulfilling to see the lil one's work.Painitng, craft ...the file's is soooo precious to us, each paper bearing the work of her tiny fingers....a kiss on each paper, a kiss on the tiny, lil hands..... before they grow up and create something very mature... I donnow what....but these pieces of paper with blue lines and red dots on them......will be the greatest creation....to me.
