Nine and half month milestones

Our little pearl has learnt a lot of skills.
Most noticable is her clarity of preference and persistance in getting what she wants. She has always been a very light sleeper and wakes up at the slightest sound. so, we always keep our phones under very low ringers, when we retire for the night. we also keep it under the pillow to further hush up the sounds and to have the phone handy.
Ananya has noticed this and now, whenever she wants the phone she pulls the pillows and looks beneath them.We find this very cute.She also says daddaaaaa ( daddy) and mama ( or sometimes amma for mummy). Not sure if she really understands and
means what she says, but those very utterances are utterly butterly delicious :-)!
She also sways to music whenever we play fast songs.
We recently did her annaprasana (religious ceremony where she gets her first taste of rice. rice is boiled in milk and sweetened with sugar).
She is yet to take interest to textured solids. As of now milk and pureed solids are still her staple diet. She has also experimented with biscuits, rusks,rice, apple pieces and a tiny bit of chapati yesterday. She still thinks biscuits are something to play with and not to eat.. me and lalitha
are patiently hoping that she gets to like this stuff.
She also got a haircut.. and she looks very cute and maybe boyish in her new hair.Will post a picture shortly. We are all awaiting her third tooth.. which is here. which is there but doesnt show up..pretty much like her desire for food.. It is here.. it is there.. BUT DOESNT SHOW UP!
