Half Birthday!

So, Our lil princess is 6 months old today!!! Another 6 months to her 1st birthday?Can't just believe it.The monthly check-ups, the birth classes, hospital visits, the baby shower, the preparation for birth,the wait...are all so fresh,they seem like they happened just yesterday.Why does time fly so fast?Days are gone, even before they are completely registered.What would have happened to all the precious moments, if not for the videos?Never can get enuf of the precious lil one. I want those moments again and again and again...and our videos are the only resort.Ananya is gonna grow each day and when we want to see baby Ananya, we are going to sit with her, play the video, and tell her,"That was you,as a baby".But, she is gonna be a baby to us,even when she grows up into an adult.
The much awaited appointment with the doctor happened yesterday and they just threw another jargon at us...PDA Patent Ductus Arteriosus.Simply, a duct which generally closes in babies before they are three days old, hasn't closed yet.So, there is more work for the heart as it pumps more.There is going to be another meeting with the specialist and then a radiologist and then , a suggestion for corrective action.
Okay, so the Almighty envied his own beautiful, lil creation and tried to stir up some ripples in a proud,happy family.But, he overlooked the fact that Ananya is born to parents who are crazy about her and are gonna fight battles, with the strength of her smile.We have spent more days and nights melting at her smiles, mesmerized by her sheer presence,and feeling blessed than traumatised by this new thing that has forced its way into our lives.
And we have no complaints .After all, we have this boon and blessing called Ananya. And who knows better than us, that, the joy of having a baby like her, is a hundred thousand times stronger than the ordeal in front of us.And yeah, God did err(coz, there is no other evident reason for this),must've been tired at the end of a hard day's work at our masterpiece, but we will set it right.At least, we are born in an age, where most of nature's errors are rectified.
