It has been a full week since Lalitha's amma left for India. Must give full credit to Lalitha for managing the show. There have been no major surprises.
She also managed to single handedly bath the baby which i believe is no mean achievement.
Here is a snapshot of how Ananya feels now:
1. She now cries loud enough to be heard ( no matter how far away from her you are!)
2. She now feeds more frequently ( once every 90 minutes and lasts for anything from 2 mins to 40 minutes)
3. She gives a great personalised smile when she wakes up after every nap, more so during the morning. It is enough for me and lalitha to be mesmerised by her. Thats is enough to give us enough strength to bear her other antics :-)
4.She has developed some rashes on her face which has roughened her face. We went to the hospital to get it checked and the doctor says it is nothing to worry about. Nevertheless, Ananya gets a good dose of Olive oil massage. And she enjoys it and her bath.
5. She kicks hard enough to propel herself backwards. She manages to turn herself 90 degrees and propels herself to upto one feet.
6. it is no longer enough for her to see things and enjoy. she stretches her hands to hold objects. and she shows her resentment when she cant (yet) grasp them!
7. she likes listening to music.
8. She got her passport!!
9. She doesnt like the summer heat :-)
Lalitha had a minor concern with her c-incision painful. She had a check up at the hospital. She is due to have another checkup on 14th.
