Hi dear dairy!
Been away from you for five days. Not that i really was away, but i had nothing interesting to contribute.
The little one is slowly steadying herself in her new world. She usually sleeps during the day, but she has stuck to her routine of keeping me awake till midnight. This routine is more or less set for her. She usually sleeps for around 2-3 hours between each feed.
Me and lalitha are getting more confident understanding her (atleast we think so till Ananya decides to get us back to our toes). one thing of concern to us is her frequency of hiccups. These hiccups keep coming with alarming regularity. Not a day passes by without them, and it continues for around 15-20 minutes, causing extreme stress to the little one. She is taking it well so far.
On saturday(27 May) we decided to get her passport done. For which we needed her photo. I initially spent the whole afternoon trying to take some pictures of her, but without much success. So in the afternoon, me and lalitha took her to the studio for her first picture taken by somebody other than her immediate family.
Obviously, it was just a professional shoot for a passport, so no asthetics. Ananya was woken up from her sleep and she spared no doubts as to how annoyed she was. But, we did take a picture of hers.
Sunday, the weather was good. Since lalitha's mom will be laving for india next saturday, i took her around to see London. This was her second outing with me to see London.
we went round the usual tourist circuit: big ben, london eye, westminster abbey, buckingham palace, and a cruise to greenwich and thames barrier. It was ok. The weather didnt play truant.
will continue in sometime.
