Late post - jan 2011

She's a music lover. She intently listens to songs and tries to hum them in a manner so endearing,we always ask her to sing for us.
At 17 months, her vocabulary includes.....happy birthday to you, song,up, out, shoe, hand, head, tummy, hurt, funny, paneer, potato, carrot, chocolate, papaya, bikket(for biscuit), thory(for story), phone, feet, butter,sit here, spit it, catch, fine,can go on and on........can never list her beautiful expression.
She raises her little hand to her head, and with pursed lips,says, 'amma...hurt'.....Melting point for amma.She fights with akka and when asked to say sorry, she hits again and says, 'chorry'. She knows the names of 3-4 friends. She says bye bye dada when Murali leaves for work in the morning, and immediately shuts the door behind him. She gets me a story book and says,'amma, thory'.
She runs to the shoe rack when she sees any one of us getting ready to go out and screams excitedly,'shoe, shoe, out'.Hahhhhahahha.She likes electronics, gadgets,another one joining the gang.
But, alas, I can not record any of these cute acts because, as soon as she sees the camera, she jumps at it, trying to grab it and chases me until I decide to quit. So, the lil one will have to do with very few pictures.
