Has not been very great.Right from the time we checked in at the airport, it' s been kinda hectic. Initaially, I was told I was not given a bassinet since there were many babies on board that day. Then, the stroller was checked in coz there was not much space on the aircraft.I requested them to be a lil considerate with both.Managed to get a babycot but, when we reached here, I had to collect my stroller alongwith the baggage, so moving around with an infant in my arms, three bags on me and an extremely active kiddo in tow, proved quite a test of my strength and patience. It took us one and a half hours to come out to the arrival reception.
The weather here has been gloomy on and off and didn't get to see Murali's face for the first few days.Murali leaves for work at 6, we weren't up by then and by the time he comes home at 9:30 or 10, we are already fast asleep.Ananya wasn't even sure we and Dada were living together. When are we going to meet Dada, she asked me.There've been showers on and off, and it's night by 4 PM, Ananya didn't have anything to do, and was very, very bored. It all led to me feeling depressed and wanting to go HOME, to Bangalore.Things are getting slightly better, now, hopefully. But Advaya was in severe pain yesterday afternoon. All the stress and strain taking a toll on the kids.
This was something we didn't want at all, atleast not this way. We wud've never wanted us to stay away from Murali, travel separately, but it became unavoidable and we were forced into the situation.Again, hope this is just a phase.
Looking around to find a playgroup for Ananya, which will make her feel better.Lots of things to do. Murali has seen us for a total time of not more than 60 minutes in the past 5 days. Dreading this phase, not at all what we want things to be.Work, work, work and only work is the day for Murali and we are waiting for the time when he can spend a good 5 minutes with us, without having to think of something else. Well, don't see that happening in the immediate future.
