The perfectionist, lil music director

As the daughter of an Ilayaraja fan(Murali), I'd expected Ananya to have some fondness for music.But, the lil one has gone a step further. She says,"Mummy, I'll play the drums and you sing".I say okay, and trying hard to get out the best of my horrible sense of tune, manage to hum something like "la la la la la".She stops me there, and nodding from side to side,her lil head full of fluffy hair, says,"No mummy! not like thaaaaat! Sing laaaa laa laa laa ".Impressed with her tune, I try to mimic her,but she bluntly stops me again,"No mummyyyy! not like that! Sing lalla lallal laaa laaa".She goes on improvising on the tune, and finally gives up on me.I'm left adoringly staring at her, the lil perfectionist, with some taste for music.....Dada I know, is happy tooooooo!!!!!!!
