So, time to head back home....This one has been a really short stay in London...may be, just a shopping trip for us. Going back to Bangalore this Saturday, the 20th. Ananya is going to miss the huge, lovely valentine's park....... the swings and the slides there, the lake and the ducks, the pebble park, the pigeons and squirrels she chases...Wonderful visits to the park.....something I will never forget although, she definitely will. I associate the park to her active, playful moments in London ,during the summer of 2008.
She will also miss the Toddlers' groups she's visited a coupla times....the playthemes and the rhymetime...she's enjoyed her time there, with other kids around.
Walking out of the house here on Wellesley Road, onto the main road, you turn left for shopping and right to go to the park.Ananya, as soon as we get onto the road,says,"Mummy, not this way...go that way", pointing her hand to the right.She makes her preference clear...the park.
She has done a lot of pretend play during her stay here in London.This period of two months, has seen Ananya voicing strong opinions, using longer, more complex sentences, trying to imitate her favourite characters....
So, as we come to the end of this short, sweet stay here, we say,"Bye bye UK ...Hope to see you again".After all, London is a special place to us now.....It's Ananya's birthplace.
